What sort of backgrounds do your caregivers have?
Most of our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or have other medical backgrounds. Caregivers take ongoing training, and have a balance of experience, training and communication skills. Most of our caregivers have been in the medical industry for many years.
How do you screen your caregivers?
Our caregiver’s backgrounds are carefully scrutinized. We thoroughly check their employment and personal references. We also conduct a criminal background check. Potential caregivers are carefully interviewed by our staffing department. Upon employment, training and orientation follows. Throughout this process, all the information we acquire is used to make the best possible match between our clients and caregivers.
What makes Assisted Care Consultants different from other caregiver providers?
Assisted Care Consultants is not a franchise, we are locally owned and operated. Our quality of care is unmatched and staff is second to none. We consult with medical professionals throughout the state of Oregon and have a dedicated board of directors working to keep us at the forefront of the caregiving and medical industry.
Do I have to commit to a minimum term of care?
There is no commitment needed for duration or term of care. You can choose the hours and days that best fit your needs. We will provide one-time or long term care.
What if I don’t get along with my caregiver?
It is our mission to choose a caregiver whose personality and demeanor best fit your situation. However, if there is an issue with your caregiver, we will be happy to match you with another one at no extra cost.
What if I want a specific caregiver?
We aim to provide the best possible care for all of our clients. This means we will do everything in our power to adhere to client requests both with personnel decisions and specific services provided. We welcome client input, it is not only our goal to meet these requests, it is this input that enables us to provide the level of service we strive for.
